Does anyone have a good secure way to handle the out of state transactions/sales so that both the buyer and seller are protected and there are no huge fees?

When I purchased my Scarlet, I bought it COD with a B of A Cashiers Check, it was pretty painless and very secure for both parties. I was able to open the box and inspect the contents prior to handing the check over to the courier. That really made me comfortable and I would definitely repeat this same process in the event that I have to make another large purchase.

I went with UPS. The fee was minimal.
