I'm looking to trade my 512GB redmag for smaller redmags.

Got a lot of those 64GB or 128GB redmags and want to increase total storage? Here's a good opportunity to do just that. The redmag is performing flawlessly and has been taken well care of.

Please PM me if interested in making a trade.Image is of the actual card

emil - I am not sure if this is what you are doing here, but I realized, with the new trade-in deal for RED mini-mags, a strange dynamic has been created. In the trade-in deal my 64GB mags are worth the same as your 512GB mags. Seems a shame to trade yours back to RED for the same $950 as mine.

I am hoping to trade my 4 x 64s to someone who has larger ones that they are planning to trade back to RED. I would be willing to pay something of a premium, of course.

PM me if you have any interest in this trade.

Wait Terry WHAT? I have a ton of 64GB ones... whats Red Giving for them? Anyhow I got 128's and 64gb ones as well.
Pm me if you wanna make a move.

My rep told me you have to be the original owner to take advantage of the trade-in, though.

I thought I was on top of things - but can't find details of this trade in deal... any links?

Andy, here is the original quote from Brent.
Totally separate deal. Simple (I hope, haha), you place an order for Red Mini- mag 512 GB cards in the quantity you want to send in of the 1.8" Redmags (64 GB or higher). Send us back those Redmags and we credit you $950 per mag. One shot deal. Credit is one for one, Redmag for Mini-mag.

But does it matter the size though? I mean there not trading in 64gb redmags for 950... or are they?

In this case size doesn't matter over 64's... same $950US credit against 512 minis. Great deal.

What my BOMB REP just sent me

In regards to the RED MINI-MAG Trade-In Program:

The program is available now.

The Following REDMAG 1.8 SSD capacities and associated 4 & 12- Pack purchased on or before February 23rd, 2015 are eligible for upgrade:

The REDMAG 1.8 SSD 48GB is not eligible for this upgrade program.

The is a one time, single-purchase upgrade program you must make all upgrades at one time.

The RED MINI-MAG 512GB must be purchased at full price and credit is applied afterward.

You are responsible for the shipping of the MINI-MAG 512GB and the shipping of the REDMAG 1.8 to us.

Any MINI-MAGS purchased under the trade in program are not able to be returned.

Looks like you had to purchase them before February 23. I would think that would close your loophole
