  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Trade Ferrari for Red kit

The guy who shot my dog & car is in hospice care dying so they have dropped all charges against him. He went to a bar, got drunk, and was bragging about shooting up a rich guy's car when he fell off the bar stool hit his head and suffered brain damage. His thug buddies still happen to live in the building next door though.

hurting a pet like that is a serious crime, its too bad they won't stick it to him...

Idea: you are, as some have stated, a talented filmmaker. Ask some friends as crew and create a short film/project about the neighborhood. Invite your neighbors. Since the King Idiot is dying in an hospice, the others are more "goons" and easier to persuade. Put teir families on camera. Everyone likes to be on TV or on film. After participating on this, do a showing on the neighborhood park, theatre, your ba kyard, whatever and invite them to the screening. There you go, they become your buddies. This eorked for me when shooting in though neighborhoods. Know a lot of people that would otherwise steal and kick my ass if i went there without a camera and crew for a shoot!

brilliant.

An old high school buddy got in touch and wondered how things were going? My reply... It's like a really bad B movie without all the hot biatches ;)

I feel your pain,

BUT,

I did not hesitate one second to move out from a house that held a similar appeal to me, if not as strong as what yours represents to you, it was certainly also a place that I bought dilapidated and illegal to reside in, and turned into something I loved. But the neighborhood around us started changing, bad things happening on a daily basis, where I was spending more hours awake at night than sleeping, jumping at every noise for fear of a burglary. It came to the point where I would only load and download my car in the middle of the night, not to show that we owned lots of expensive items. And then my daughter was born, and just like that, I said f..k it, we're out of here. I lost money on the sale, not to mention the years of repairs, but I got some peace of mind back. Just like I lost the agility, stamina and strength of my youth, I consider the loss of that property of natural loss of evolution. Things come and go. It is sad, unfair and downright infuriating to lose things like a house because of bad neighbors, but as you do your best to keep up with these difficult, violent times, life goes on. And so must we. I enjoyed my house, wished I could have kept it forever, but perhaps if not the thugs around, I would have lost it to a new developer buying everybody off to build a new mall, a hurricane, who knows...I thought I would mourn it for years. But after a couple of months in my new place, where my baby and us are safe, I barely remember that old place. It was a place in time for me. There are, usually, several of those in life. Don't sell your car, keep it, restore it again, and enjoy it. Unless you really, really, really need your camera gear. But if you are being forced to go around with a concealed weapon, very few things are worth that, and the ones that are, are usually because we cannot help them.

Good luck to you,
