Track files on external drives?

[Benjamin Rowland]

Is there any software available for Mac that builds a database for files located on your external drives?

We've got several external drives that aren't always connected to a computer. It'd be nice to know what is on those drives without having to connect each one. We need software that can catalog those drives.

Suggestions?

THANKS!

Anybody used CDFinder?

Haven't tried this one myself, but could be intersting:

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm downloading it now to compare.

I compared the two. Definitely prefer CDFinder.
(I'm not affiliated with them in any way.)

I use CDFinder. I haven't used it to catalog any hard drives yet. But I like it for optical media.
