Sorry if this has been discussed but i can't find it anywhere

Can the Scarlet LCD touch screen still autofocus by touch?
I know the prototype fixed lens could... just not sure now

Been through the menu to try and set it up if thats what is needed but no luck? (don't have side handle)

Basically Im mostly a one-man-army on shoots
so if I got that sucker up on a jib for use of an aerial type shot

I want to make sure my focus is bang on
so i thought order the long monitor cable and focus from where i am rather then trying to reach the jib etc

any help would be much appreciated

Daniel ;)

YES...nevermind i just figured it out

Might only work with lenses that have autofocus (i know autofocus YUK)

Basically I set what ever Canon lenses i have that have AF to AF

on the touch screen i set the ''focus'' drop down menu to ''touch track''
then i slide the little box on the touch screen to the desired part
then i switch my canon lens back to Manual focus so it doesn't lose my focus mark and start trying to find a new one

hope this help anyone if they were trying to do the same thing

if I'm way behind on this then ...well shame on me haha
