all in glorious 5k. can't wait.

[David Collard]

No. Not all originated in glorious 5K.
There are 60 other supplementary cameras like goPro etc.
But what do I know?

[Tom.Wong]

as long as that scene is in 5k...

[Jeremy Torrie]

Get ready for a big surprise!

I seriously hope they do a restoration on the PV film before this new one is released or hits home video. It's a classic in it's own messed up little way and it is in DIRE need of a new Blu-Ray with lossless audio.

[Tom.Wong]

yeh, the blu ray they have now is pretty crappy. it just looks like the SD version but not as bad as the actual dvd on a big hd tv. the discs were poorly made too, my BD literally stopped working.

[IAN SUN]

Hate to break the 5K illusion. But even the Epic footage is not being captured in 5K. It is being shot anamorphic remember.
Still looks wicked sharp though.

[Petr Dvorak]

Can't wait.

Some on set photos I found floating around on the internet;

Not so interesting without cameras in the pictures, but.....

[Filip Orlandic]

Holy cow!

[Tom.Wong]

3 camera setup = time savor

3 epic setup = time savor + space savor.

3 epic cam setup + Kate Beckinsale = absolute win, and I'm seeing it...
