Hello everyone, I'm not sure if this is the right subforum to post this in. If it's not, I apologize to the moderators.
I’ve been a REDUSER since 2015 (I own a RED Dragon and a RED Monstro), and for the past year and a half, I’ve been working on a new project: a brand that develops digital tools for creators, filmmakers, and production companies. In addition to some LUTs, we’ve created a few products that I believe are quite innovative in our field, and all of them have been shot with RED.
I’m in love with the look that Natasha Braier created in The Neon Demon for certain scenes, where she smeared textures like jam and vaseline directly onto a clean lens filter. At my own production company, we’ve used these techniques in several music videos and fashion films.
I wanted to create a digital product that could replicate those textures with just a simple drag & drop, without having to do it on set. So, I started experimenting with my art director, and together we isolated various textures and created this product:
Dirty Lens
Another product we’ve developed (and one that I personally really like, even though it’s not as groundbreaking as the previous one) is a pack of transitions shot with the RED MONSTRO and RED DRAGON-X.
HASTE
We just launched this brand yesterday, so you could say we’ve only been live for about 24 hours.
There’s a freebie available so you can test out what we’re creating, and any feedback or suggestions are more than welcome.
Thank you so much!
