I have a fascination that the EPIC cameras with a 5K sensor can shoot over 100fps on an affordable sub $2,000 Canon long zoom lens 100-400mm and easily beyond that upwards of 800mm with a doubler yet keep it light weight enough to stay hand held with the assistance of an image stabilizer.
Thats powerfully nuts.
5K image easily allowing a full 1K to use up for post image stabilization for those shots that can benefit from it, yet still allowing me to deliver a 4K image.
Over 100fps of course far beyond that if i choose a different sensor size setting.
Affordable Glass Lots and lots of photographers have these Light weight compact size zoom lenses ranging from ultra wide all the way up to 800mm range in my hands HAND HELD no need for support i can run and gun with this if i am steady with my shot. ( sticks and support make the images that much nicer )
The glass is cheap rents for like $42 for a 3 day rental from various places if you just want to try it out.

REDvolt batteries for keeping it light weight.
No other camera in the world gives me this versatility and power in my hands, im just excited about it thats all.
Anyhow with the addition of the doubler on my zoom lens which is pretty cool I might add thanks to Phil Holland's guidance. :seeya:
My Epic camera is now definitely front heavy and my wrist is fighting the front pull so much that it fatigues my wrist in the pulling up and back on long shots.
I tried various solutions to keeping the weight as minimal as possible yet keep the camera balanced.
I refuse to add back weight like a brick to balance out the camera and I really love the RED Top sliding handle so while at the Machine Shop a friend of mine and I in the MIDnight hours have come up with this hopeful solution.
I call it The T-BONE
I shall soon have it out on the football field.
The hope is that it will allow me to relocate the REDtop sliding handle over the lens its self and that will pivot the balance of the entire camera.
I run my monitor on top of the RED top sliding handle so theres even more added weight right there, thanks Joseph Hutson cool option.
If im lucky this should save strain on my wrist.
Thanks
Luis
