So I'm building a Red package for a project that's starting up, and it's really going pushing it close to the shooting deadlines. One of the biggest problems we're having is that top mounts are on back order and we only have one. I have additional rails for the top, but no rear top mount. How reliable is using one top mount with rails? And does anyone have any suggestions?

It is not too difficult for a machinist to make something for you out of a flat piece of aluminum. It needs a curve in the bottom for the body, then two holes to attach it to the body and two holes for the rods. Even better if you can tighten the rods.

What are you using top rails for? I only use 6" rods on top, rear for cradle/quickplate.
Why did you schedule a show before you had taken delivery or at least have a rental ready?
