Hello!

I am curious if anyone has recommendations for a Raptor build that allows me to keep my Revolva, top mounted Redtouch 7" (which is my current build) but allows me to also add a top handle.

As of now, I use the Risa by kippertie so that I can still use the 7" top mounted, but I am not sure how stable that will be with a top handle attached. With a top plate, such as the tactical top plate by Red, or the tilta version, there will still be an unevenness, but perhaps it will add some reinforcement?

Interested to hear any solutions that have worked for you.

Thanks in advance.

I feel your pain. Posted about this a few months ago too. It’d be nice if somebody could make a riser for the Red top handle’s rear bracket.. but between Red, CS, and Kippertie, I’m not sure which company would take on the task. It’s possible Kippertie is instead developing a Strata ND for EF mount. If you’re using PL lenses, I’d definitely take a look at the Strata if buying another mount’s within your current budget.
