  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Just wondering but by "tune in at 9" does Jim mean just come back to this thread or is there going to be a video feed or something?
 
It would be rad if Red would start doing video feeds. Like watching live Apple announcements.

Thanks Michael! I'm just real excited about this announcement of Jim's - but trust me, I really have no idea what he's going to announce. I just have a gut feeling its really earth shaking stuff...

I'm sticking with Coffee, and not being 21 is another solid reason for this.
 
Did he say "tell your friends?" they are already here :) I don't have any other friends anymore :)
Poor Jim he'll have to delete the he'll out of this thread or open up a new one :) there's so much excited noise and clutter
Most probably from me by the time we're done :)

Thanks Paul! In truth I have no idea what Jim is announcing - but my instincts tell me it is enormous.

But when I do get these Epic X cameras the 16-35, 24-70, and 70-200, and the rest of my L series Canon lenses will spend a lot of time on them :-))

Maybe I'm reading too much into words, but that seems to imply two things.

A significant announcement, even by Jim, doesn't take that long to read and at least start digesting.

So why 'and stay up late'?

Is it something so major we're going to feel compelled to discuss it until the wee small hours?

Will there be some significant content to watch as well as the announcement?

Will we all be banging frantically on our keyboards trying to get a 'submit order' button to work on the RED store?

Interesting times!
