[Jason Ano]

Does anyone know when the new Tokina 11-16mm DX II is suppose to come out?

I see that B&H has it listed here with no date: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/882235-REG/Tokina_atx116prodxc_ii_AT_X_116_PRO_DX_II.html

Didn't realize they were coming out with a new one. I love my version I. Do you know what improvements this one has?

The new one is listed at around $1300 at Samy's here in LA... Improved coatings and also improved focus for Nikon.... Don't know when they will be shipping.....

Me too. Not sure why they designed another one.

Apparently they improved the lens coating - that's about it. Other than that, not much information.

Probably trying to combat the flares. Personally i LOVE its insane flare. the lens is so crazy that anything "wrong" with it is just icing on the cake.
