Hi everyone,
I've been chasing clouds the whole week end, I could finally brought to you this video.
I was hiking for 2 days to get these nice shots. Scarlet weight on its basic setup is ok for hiking, go for it :)
Feel free to give me feedback on colors, composition, exposure anything you think is relevant

What lenses where you using? And what settings did you use (5k/12fps, ISO)? Did you add sharpening or clarity?

These looked really good.

Nice work Gwen!

By the way, funny coincidence, but I was just going to PM you. I'm coming to Réunion in December and will be staying for about six weeks. It's a photography trip, so I'm only bringing a D800. Or rather, I should say, it's a vacationoot. (As in vacation + photoshoot.) =)

Will you be around then? (Je sais que beaucoup de gens quittent l'île pour Noël.)

Hey thanks,

I used 18mm f4 / 35mm f2.8 / 50mm f1.4 100mm f2.8 zeiss lens for most of the shoots. These have great contrast and almost dont need color correction.
For the setting I manly used the 5K 1Fps or 5Fps, sometimes HDR with 6stops lattitude. I have to admit that 5K option was ok for reframing :)
I first edit it in premiere then went back to Redcine X for clarity and exposure. Too bad RedcineX doesnt accept wav sound for editing.
Mostly I was impressed by the quality of timelapse using scarlet, I really like to playback shoot @ 24fps on camera, it really made the difference.
Hope that helped
