How do I have a 180 degree shutter on Timelapse for the Komodo? Currently on firmware 1.8.3.

I come from mirrorless so I would just use a shutter speed that is half the interval. 1 second interval and I would use half second shutter so it has the same motion blur as 180 degree shutter. I can’t seem to figure this out on the Komodo.

Maybe I’m not setting it up right or maybe there is a best practice.

Komodo cannot go under 1/24 shutter speed. Komodo X can go as low as 1/6th shutter speed.
Older REDs could go for longer shutter speeds so not sure what the issue is with the current sensors.
I have sent a few messages to RED about this but nothing yet.

I sometimes need to shoot Timelapses for broll and it would be great to have my 2 Komodos getting
proper longer exposure Timelapse shots. Komodos would be perfect for those type of shots on a set
while an A cam continues getting talent shots.

Consider sending a request directly to RED so they actually see it.
