timecode slate with BoomBlaster?!

has anyone an idea how to modify a
JVC BoomBlaster RV-NB52

to use it with a denecke ts-3 timecode slate
for a musicvideo?

the idea is to use the left audio cha. for timecode
and the right one for music but i need
a output for the left "timecodeaudio" channel..

You need a solid, stable playback source that will play back at the same, repeatable speeds for music videos. A boombox won't do this (assuming cassette or CD); it's eventually going to drift.

What would work would be to play a stable timecode source through the boombox. A laptop computer with a WAV file that has the music on one channel and timecode on the other would work, at least for an average 3-minute song. This is generally done with a powered PA speaker, not a boombox.

Given the average shot length in a music video, it's not a gigantic problem, assuming the editor (or assistant editor) can adjust sync where necessary.
