Hello,
quick question just to be sure as i never work with project timebase vs project fps - i am going to shoot music video in 24fps timebase but with 36fps as i need light slowmotion (max 4k fps on scarlet) so should i go with 1/48 (for project timebase) or 1/72 (real project fps) shutter speed ? in my opinion 1/48 should have more (maybe too much) motion blur right ?

thank you

1/48 will have the exact same motion blur as if you shot 24fps at 180deg shutter (i.e. 1/48th sec). The only reason it may LOOK different is the slow motion gives your eye more time to observe the motion, so motion blur appears more perceptible. Many people prefer to keep the 180deg shutter for slow motion to reduce the motion blur for this reason.

You should do some tests to see which motion blur you prefer for the style of video you are making.
