I noticed on a shoot today that if you're shooting ProRes only and you select your card to see how much time you have on the mag, it will tell you what you would have if you were shooting at the most recent R3D settings you had used last.
I was shooting ProRes only and I shot about an hour of footage and the cameras timer only went down a 20 minutes.
On top of that, if you're shooting ProRes and R3D at the same time, the timer only indicate how much time is left on the mag if you were shooting R3D only, making the tool inaccurate.
I don't usually base mag changes based upon time, I mostly go based upon percentage, but there are certain jobs where it would be helpful for this to be functioning correctly. Does anybody know if this is something RED is working on?
