Simple question, though I guess there's a ton of factors to consider but...

Is it feasible to shoot time lapse on R1 with just CF Cards? I'm guessing the answer would probably lead towards a no but just want to be sure before I buy an RED Drive.

Thanks in advance,

Hey Imran,

I shoot plenty of time-lapse using the 8 GB cards, which work great since it takes so much longer to fill an 8 GB card than it would filming real-time.

Check out the link below for American Cantos to see time-lapse examples from a RED One.

As Joe says, it's not a problem. You can use any of the media options for Timelapse.

edit: nvm, realized I need to let certain time lapse settings run longer I think then others before playback.
