Tiffsequence,single tiff file lasts 9 sec. in fcp

How to export a tiff sequence via redalert or redcine, so every frame is represented by one Tiff file....now when i export a tiff sequence and import it
into fcp every tiff file lasts for 9 seconds and not for one frame...i could shorten them manually, but this cant be the route.

FCP User preferences-- editing tab-- change the still frame duration to one frame. FCP hates tiff sequences IMHO.

thanks, i was just curious to test a tiff sequence....and to what are you reffering, any detailed infos?

I haven't tried it on a new pimped out mac, but on older machines, a tiff sequence would just choke FCP, dropped frames, spinning beachball, etc. I just dont think it was built to take them, at least not like AE does.

FCP has big problems with Tiff sequences. Also when you make a proxy via QT, FCP doesn't import and handle it correct. Thats the reason why I use AE for Tiff sequences, also because FCP has the 10bit bottleneck.
