Tested my $150 77mm Tiffen VND on Canon glass with Dragon. Shot wide open on 24mm and up with 8-9 stops of vnd.
Gray card balanced. Looked absolutely great.
Then, I pulled the vnd, closed the lenses down to 20 or 18, gray card balanced and could not tell the difference at all.
This VND didn't show any weird color casts or abnormalities while stopping it down throughout the range.
Also, the VND looked identical to my standard 4x5.65 Tiffen ND's by eye. Good to know for fast, light and easy shooting.
I know Toia is happy with his VND of choice. Just another example here that works guys and gals.
