Hi! I recently bought a Tiffen 77mm IR Variable Neutral Density Filter for my EPIC MX. I am having an issue with very bright sources, it seems like a reflection inside the filter or something else, is there a way to fix this or that's just the way they work? Thanks.

Haze reflection or ghosting is very well known issue with many Vari-ND filters since they are simply two stacked polarizer filters in front of the lens. Some Vari-NDs may show less ghosting due to their better glass quality & anti-reflection coatings while others show more prominent ghosting issues. Also, it is possible that the reflection may come from the front element of the lens since i have seen some lenses with a simple UV filter show similar ghosting effects.
