Update 2: The official cut of the video just premiered on Pitchfork TV: http://pitchfork.tv/videos/thunderheist-jerk-it

Update: We won the contest. Thanks everyone! Official cut coming soon.

New Music Video I shot a little over a month ago. Almost all footage is 2k 120fps, Red 18-50 zoom. Video after the jump. Guess which one is Red. Please Vote.

Video Directed by Noel Paul and Stefan Moore.

[Andrew Walker]

Very weird music video. But it had some cool looking shots in it.

[Tico Llaurador]

Of course, no animals were harmed during the production of this video... right?

Or the American Humane Association Film & TV Unit will come after you!

[Michael Ragen]

Of course not. We had a professional rooster wrangler.

[Jacob_Ross]

cool video.

I shot a cockfighting documentary a while back, did some 60fps stuff with my HVX200, it came out great.... I imagine it would have looked even sicker @ 120fps on a RED

props.

[Matt Garrett]

I like your style mike!

[Michael Ragen]

Just so credit gets placed where credit is due, the vision was all with the directors, who edited it as well.

[Purple]

Great shots. What lenses did you use?

Red 18-50 zoom !!!

You can read it under the photo !

[Emiliano Ranzani]

...I guess there's a double entendre in it, am I right?

Anyway, cool shots.

[jaadgy akanni]

I need that chick for my upcoming video. Throw in the rooster for free please.

[Erik Rangel]

Love the slow mo booby bounce.. Great song too.

[Emiliano Ranzani]

It's weird, a couple of things might look cheap, but I like it more every minute! Definetly the best of the 3 finalists!

[Brandon Fraley]

i personally think the song is too long for the gag, but nothing you could do about that.

I really love it, dude. Great idea and well executed

thank you. yeah... we didn't really have a budget... everybody was volunteering and we did the whole thing in a hurry. in fact we weren't able to shoot the video until 2 days before the contest deadline. heh.

for those interested in the rooster: his name is caleb and he's very talented. just keep in mind that at 6pm sharp he takes a break to call the hens in to roost. it's a union thing. so schedule your shoot accordingly.

thanks all for watching it and for your feedback. and props/thanks to deadmike for volunteering your time & skill.

[I Bloom]

Love it.
Time remapping is beautiful.

Don't get me wrong, it's very well shot. The only things that look cheap (IMHO) are the psychedelic frames - they look a bit too retro. But that's just my 2 cents of course. And the clip smells of victory...

[Mike Prevette]

Nice work Mike!

[Andrew Benz]

I don't know how many times I've watched this now... Will we see a higher res version of this on VUZE?

I think we all deserve it.

Btw, the lead has some amazing agrarian skills... brilliant.

A high-res copy will certainly be released if we win the contest and it becomes official...
