Thread popped out for Top Plate Attachment

Hi,

Not a massive biggie here, but wanted to check if I can get this fixed without having to send my camera away (Cause I just got it).

Wanted to attach a top plate and instead of the screw biting, the thread popped out. Best way to fix it?

Heli Coil. [google]
Tape all holes [air, etc], and any precision-mechanic can fix it.

To my knowledge you can replace them three times.
