Thoughts on: Komodo + Tilta's Advanced PDM + GDU Mini V-Lock

Do the tilta v/gold mount Komodo plates send power directly through the BP battery slots or do you have to use a dtap cable to plug from the plate to the dc in on the camera to power it? Doesn’t say anything about this on the product page.

Sadly Red told me it’s not approved though, I’ve had third party plates fry internal boards in Reds before, do that makes it a no-go...
