wow.... I'm definitely in it to test

Does that mean the GoPros are actually capturing to Cineform codec? So they would be capturing almost RAW?

I was told the cost of the Cineform software would soon be cut in half. There's also a discount on GoPro cameras ($100 off IIRC) if you give them your name and email address.

SI-2K and Cineform?

SI-2K and Cineform?

Cineform seems to be the #1 choice for SI-2K use, at least as far as I can tell, I asked SI for some daylight DNG files twice and they don't seem to follow through with sending some, and from what I can get they don't seem hot on DNG workflows.

So if GoPro holds Cineform, what is the relationship between SI and GoPro?

I read before I think that SI just got some cash from investors, without Cineform for SI what data format will they be using in their new cameras, that is one would think that if they are looking for cash, they plan on making something better than 2/3" 2K cameras?

Going the other way, I was told by Cineform that they have a convertor form DNG to Cineform, although it was unclear if that is only a service or you can purchase it for your own use...

About the 3D GoPro, with one camera up-side-down you don't want rolling shutters going in opposite directions, does anyone know if they fixed that issue? The sensor in the up-side-down camera needs to roll up rather than down, so the roll direction matches the right-side-up camera (or do they have global shutters?)...

Do I sense a GoPro PRO coming?
