Hello again RED Gang,

I wanted to share my third video shot with my scarlet. This video tested some extremely tight shooting spaces and low light situations. I shot the entire piece in black and white. I created a bunch of looks for various situations in redcine-x to import into my scarlet. This ability is amazing and allowed me to really see what I was shooting and saved countless hours in post grading the footage. Again I shot using the 2k mode with my super16 lenses. I was very happy with how the black and white looked and the dynamic range is really the game changer for me. Whether I was shooting with extreme sunlight or at 3am outside with street lights the scarlet out performed every video camera I have ever owned. I can't say it enough, this camera was built to tell stories. As always your feedback and support is greatly appreciated. Thanks Red Family, cheers

Forgot to list the lenses used: Zeiss Mark II 8mm 1.3, Panthar Cinetar 35mm 1.3 and an Angeneux 10-120mm 2.2

Thanks Paul ! I am on the hunt for a 12mm, 16mm, 25mm. My next project is underway :)

You got talent man. Keep doing what you do.

Thanks Brandon for taking the time to watch, it was another fun project to work on. Cheers

Great job, and nice story, dug the night shot, wish we could have seen more. If you don't mind sharing, how did you achieve the soft focus at the end of the film, and during some of the performance?

Hahahaa story is for sure important. The lenses help me tell the stories :)

Very nicely done, well caught mood. The Black and White fits perfectly. Did you do a special process (like in lightroom) to get the black and whites so rich?

(Please don't bump posts, otherwise everyone starts doing this and we'll have even more noise on this board. Thanks!)

Thanks Martin :) I used the filmic Blend technique to enhance the blacks. If you google filmic blend you will find a tutorial on the subject. It is a hog on render time and I do it as a last step but it works wonders, cheers :)
