Thinking about a BOMB EVF

So I've had my Epic for about 10 months, I love it but working out doors even with a shade over my 5" screen the bight South Texas sun is overpowering the monitor. I've been wanting for quite some time to move to the BOMB but cost and other accessories have been holding me back - I'm looking at the Battle Tested Bomb for around 2K right now, but are there any other solutions (EVF wise) that someone can recommend?

Not cheap either,but probably more like end Q4. At any rate, the new camera firmware had made the black levels on the OLED RED EVF really look very good. The LCOS I don't know about with the new firmware, however, which is the one the OP referred to, in the post #1.

Another option is the 9" touchscreen, which, with a Hoodman works very well, as regards image.

Still cheaper than the red version when you take into account you don't need the bridge plate with the extra EVF port.
