I know "Strong HDMI cable" is a bit of an oxymoron. I was wondering if anyone has a recommendation for one of those thin ones that might hold up well and is preferably all black. Trying to rig a paralynx on an epic as cleanly as possible. For that matter, anyone figure out a solid tucked away spot/method to rig a paralinx? I know the "shield" provides mounting points.

Thanks!

Hi Bobby - I personally bolt my Arrow in the shield to the Assistant side of my epic Top Plate, and then I use a Right Angle Turn like this out of the epic HDMI port to route the hdmi cable over the top of the Epic Power Input cable. Will post some pictures soon, and might do a video on this kind of rigging soon. It's another thing on the ever-expanding To-Do list.

I use our short hdmi cables here:

18 inch

12inch

Or Hypershop Hyper Thin - which are thinner and longer if you need to put the transmitter further away from the body or on another part of your rig:

Apologize for the lack of pics - my epic is at my house and I'm in the office at the moment.

best

Thanks Dan! I was just on your site and totally overlooked the cables. I used the same right angle approach on the last job with a swiveling HDMI and it was very effective at keeping the ports uncluttered.
