  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Thin cables for stabilizers

Redrock is about to release new ultra slim cables. Don't know what they are going to charge, I believe they are going to offer an upgrade, where you send in your current cables and they replace them (not sure though). I know slack line also makes the motor cable, not sure of the finer wheel, but they are expensive.

I tested the new finger wheel as well as motor cables and the finger wheel is the only one I felt was absolutely a necessity. The others while they are slim, are already short, and the weight difference wasn't astounding.
 
Hi Barasz,

We are making thin and flexible motor cable for the microRemote, and have been since the beginning of this year. I am not sure about Redrock's new cables, but our cables use genuine Lemo connectors and are thoroughly tested for manufacturing errors. The wire we use is also the thinnest and most flexible option out there.
