  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

I am pretty sure that if there was a large shipment of Scarlet-Ws going out, there wouldn't be an Oct 11th announcement and this thread would be a couple of hundred pages shorter. ;-)

Jarred has already said that Red is building Scarlet-W constantly, and shipping them as soon as they're ready.

RED USB C Mini Mag Reader starts shipping October 27th.

They could just be waiting to see who all is switching from Scarlet to epic and if they hold back on sending them out to people who might end up switching to Epic. Then they can send scarlets to people who plan on staying with Scarlet.

And you would be wrong... Scarlet-W's are shipping out like crazy right now.
 
Quick question from an insane person: if S-W to E-W jump is $10K above S-W price, is the Raven to E-W jump somewhere around the neighborhood of $15K?

Thought it's same size as the current mini mag reader, is it smaller?

Much smaller, almost half the size. And it works at USB 3.1 speeds and includes a "normal" USB 3.1 to USB 3.0 cable as well to work with your older hardware.
