Our lineup will become simplified come October.. as it is getting a bit confusing with all the options.
I'm guessing the following happens.

All but two DSMC1 cameras are removed - would make sense to keep Epic-x-dragon & Scarlet-Dragon for the large, enterprise, and/or customers with large investments in DSMC1 already.

Upgrades for Epic to Weapon will stop - They start MG WPN to CF / CF 8k upgrades

Forged WPN isn't being sold after Oct - This is a 50/50 chance imo

Epic-W & Helium 8k are officially released.

I'd expect the Epic-W to be near the MG weapon price point.

Of course I'm probably 100% wrong, but time will tell.

My guess:
Raven (4.5k) -entry level
Scarlet W (6k) -mid
Epic W (6k) -high
WPN MG (6k) -xl high
Helium s35 (8k) -xxl high
Dragon VV (8k) -xxxl high

DSMC1 moves to legacy status, same way One moved after 5 years (or so).

You are only 50% wrong. :)

Maybe also a helium Vista sensor, in keeping with Red's oversampling scheeme?

Whatever happened with the extra wide sensor?

Some technically orientated posts are going missing.

Thanks

is there any chance we are gonna see Helium 4:3 sensor in october? btw i would love to see LDS support on pl mounts? so there is no update on this for long time.

It was going great but unfortunately along the way Arris position turned to "NO" . :)

here's my guess:

DSMC1 will end production, with continued support for next 3 years and media, modules fazing out gradually.

Dragon to weapon upgrade will very soon have a time limit, say 30 days to 2 months, to complete the deal, like Epic to Epic Dragon

My hopes : A Dragon to Weapon with Helium bundle - could be the same exact price current Weapon upgraders to Magnesium and CF had to pay- it would just be for convenience and lack of needing to send the camera in twice.

Red would end up selling The Dragon DSMC 2 family cameras, The Helium DSMC 2 Cameras, and the very exclusive VV Dragon cameras.

The advantage of this is complete modularity of the system independent of internal sensor.

Looking forward to do my Weapon Upgrade, with Helium in it! (Still dreaming of VV, though! )

You nailed part of it Sergio.

He probably nailed this part... (Unfortunately)

Yeah the Last update I think I said 6 weeks from the end of July and that is still looking good... Mid next month is on track.

Yup... deffo gonna get my handle before i get my S-W!

Brent is going on another one of his family vacation's very soon... And I hear it is very far from Internet access. ;)

Hahaha!

Between ramped-up Raven/Scarlet deliveries, new side handles, and a revised lineup - it's going to be a fun few months coming up!

That's an understatement. The Latitude packages are supposed to start shipping this month also, which is going to be fun when the Scarlet-W's start arriving. :)

Won't know till we get there, to be honest.

When I head off grid, I generally just put my phone in airplane mode and don't bother checking again until it's time to look for that post-backpacking restaurant on the way home ;)

I am going to borrow this idea moving forward!
