  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Fellow Reduser Brandon Fowler is battling MS and is smack in the middle of his life saving treatment that many redusers helped pay for. But the next few days are going to be pretty tough. So while so many of us are glad to be getting new cameras, Brandon is getting a new immune system.... now THAT is an upgrade to be truly grateful for.

ahhhh perspective!!! Thanks Andy! I'm glad I was able to contribute as Brandon has always been super cool in this group. My thoughts are with him.

Those names don't really mean anything to a "normal" person and you'd need to explain those just as much as you would need to explain what the difference is between an Epic and an Epic Dragon and an Epic-W.

Anticipation and anxiety may have claimed some lives in the past 24 hours. As we get closer to the 11th, the time space continuum continues to expand making every second longer. The 11th will be here in just over 172 thousand seconds! Although I'm guessing we'll need another 32 thousand seconds for 9am to roll around. This may be in Central time too. Ugh! Add another 7 thousand.

Love how they're letting us upgrade a Red 1 MX. A huge thanks to Jarred and all of the RED Team! +1 to Heather, she's an awesome rep.

I'm equally as excited for this as I was for the Lost finale. I'm sure this will be a much better outcome.
 
Shit man, I still like my R1MX... RED is one of my favorite companies, along with ETC here in Wisconsin. Let's remember Canon basically just released the C700 for 28K, which is about comparable to what RED gave us in the R1 almost six years ago. RED always focuses on getting the best cameras at the best price into the best hands. For that I'm grateful forever to Jarred and the whole team.
 
While I won't be upgrading, it's hard not to get caught up in the excitement of this thread. So excited for everyone moving up. Looking forward to the craziness on the 11th. I'll have my eye out for some of your DSMC1 accessories on the marketplace when you decide to put them up for sale.
