Any feedback on this?

Hi,

I have the Chameleon by Premier. Ever product I have seen by them is very well made. The Cameleon has sort of a bad wrap from people who have used old beat down ones. They were relatively cheap, so a lot of schools and small production companies bought them and then didn't maintain them.

I was looking into buying a pd-1, but found a used Cameleon. The nice thing about the PD-1, is that you can adjust the camera height fast, making it much more useful than a doorway dolly, or a skateboard dolly.

This one looks very interesting... We do a lot of music videos and we need a dolly with a seat, the spider is good but the set-up time and amount of cases is too much hassle... I'm interested if anyone has used this PD-1... it looks extremely promising.

Very well made, an excellent dolly. The built in jib arm is a nice touch, I have used one, you can't go wrong with it.

The concept allready looks great, I was interested in the Matthews Doorway Dolly, but this one looks very interesting. The prize seems to be a good compromise between quality and affordibility. Most of the other systems mentioned I wouldn't rely on.

Haven't tried the PD-1 but my Premiere Studio Equipment PUP500 just arrived and it's simply AMAZING. Wow. Also have the Cameleon and that's a good little dolly as well.

Anyone in Vancouver who wants to demo my PUP500, let me know.

When I see that prices for such simple products... I can't help start laughing
If you watch the video they have, you will quickly see how many things it can do. The price really seems cheap to me. No, I dont know these people but like anyone that does a good job on something in spite of people like you.
