Hey gang, my wife and I watched this lovely doc this weekend and noticed the "SHOT ON RED" logo at the end.

Wanted to share.

Here's the trailer:

For those of you who haven't heard of this, it's a doc by the wonderful Edgar Wright. It focuses on the little known but highly influential band SPARKS (who are from California, but everyone thinks are English haha).

It's a deeply moving doc about creativity, perseverance, and believing in your self. I highly recommend.

The interviews are all in black and white (which makes me wonder if they were shot on Monochrome?).

One of my good friends made the great point that the B&W interviews really allow the stock/archival material to pop, and I think he's so right.

It's also lovely to see Edgar Wright be inspired by Sparks, and insert himself in the doc haha!

Either way, if you have a second, give this doc a look. It's very, very moving.

One of the best things we've seen all year.
