The new coating on the RED-RAM...

...Is awesome. I love it. Any chance that future camera bodies will have this type of finish on them? It feels like it has a more aggressive or abrasive finish to it, than the RED Drives or other accessories. Way back when, when the color of the RED camera body was being discussed (at least us reduser members were discussing it), I was one of the people who suggested a grey color. This is what I was thinking.

Would this finish possibly add unwanted reflection if it was used for the camera?
Perhaps the Epic -X- limited edition will have the same finish.

I don't think it would be an issue. But I know a lot of people think they need black, just for this reason. Then again, Panavision doesn't seem to think black is necessary.

I was thinking that too -- or how the Epic-X is shown to have the two-tone scheme, perhaps the grey on the side panels. All things subject to change, of course.
