The Kerri Kart is designed to be customized for your needs.
The kart can be configured as a camera kart, a DIT kart, or a production kart with dolly=slider option depending on what is purchased.

The Kerri Kart was designed around a lightweight, yet robust rolling base capable of transporting a significant amount of gear while still fitting through a standard doorway.
The rest of the kart is built out of standard grip equipment along with a variety of shelving and dolly/slider options.
The Kerri Kart base includes 4 premium pneumatic tires, industry approved Crank-O-Vator wheel forks, and two heavy-duty needle thrust bearings with duper crank pedal brakes. The 10 strut dolly frame is heliarc welded out of 6061-t6 aircraft grade aluminum, and topped with lightweight perforated aluminum and four junior receive plates for securing the telescoping risers.

Looks awesome. I'm in the market for a cart, too bad there's no pricing on the site, yet.

The prices should be announce at NAB 2016.

Once I have the new version, I plan to give personal demos in New York, Boston, Chicago, Toronto and Montreal.

seems like it takes a while to put together and weird to get level.

Hi Mike,
I use the Kerri Kart - Pipe Dolly System on every shoot.

It stores in the back of my mini van in a 2' x 4' space, with the rails and risers (with fittings attached) under the cart.
Once on location, I just insert the 4 risers, pop on the rails, then tighten bolts (no tools required)... this takes me, 3 minutes.

Levelling the cart is the 'piece de résistance'... you just raise or lower the the risers.

Here's a photo of an early prototype which will help explain the system.

Cheers,
Bill

I have been looking for a cart, so I will check it out at NAB.

Looking forward to seeing you Stacey.

Here's more info:

Excerpts from Interviews:

Question: What is the Kerri Kart?
Answer: The KerriKart is a combination equipment dolly, camera cart and provides a platform for almost every brand and style of camera slider made!

Question: What are its advantages as an equipment cart?
Answer: As an equipment dolly, it holds an amazing amount of gear!
The top rail or shelf can easily be raised if you need more room.
It's 10" tires will carry a heavy load in mud or thru snow.
It's tough and solid... made of aluminum and steel.
Yet, it's a one person lift into a vehicle... and the entire cart fits in a 2'x 4' foot space.
It's size also makes it perfect... for fitting in small elevators.

Question: What makes it a good camera cart?
Answer: I'm biased, but I think it's an amazing camera cart!
I build and rig the camera on it's top shelf, and keep my lens package, camera accessories and tripod on the bottom shelf.
The top shelf may also be quickly adjusted to your preferred working hight.
It's made with industry standard parts, so it's very easy to accessorize!
I often mount my 17" monitor to one of its risers, a soft light on another and sometimes even a sound boom on a third.
You really appreciate the cart, when you need to make a quick move to another location. Once you arrive you're ready to shoot in minutes.

Question: Tell me about its sliding features.
Answer: The KerriKart is not a slider! It's a sliding platform with 4 points of support.
Sliders maybe mounted on it's 2' x 4' shelf.
Or on 4 of it's baby pins.
Or on it's 4' speed rails.
Two foot extensions may be added to the rails, allowing for 6' or 8' slides!
The rails can be removed and placed on the ground for low level slides.
The rails fit neatly on top of the KerriKarts aluminum frame.
Or using the 4 Matthellinis, the rails can be clamped at any hight giving you slides from 2' to 6' high.
