Hello,

Here a test I did with the Mizar 900 telescope shooting the moon with the Weapon Magnesium at 6k.

https://vimeo.com/191489019

The optical quality is so poor that I would have probably obtained better results with a A7s2 shooting fullframe in 4k (and pushed the iso to 6400) than shooting 6k on a S35mm sensor.

But even so I find it interesting.

See you.

Patrick

Patrick,

How did you mount your camera to the telescope?

I have the same problem. Vimeo updated their software and broke the ability to link to a video. It's possible to access the video directly from the internet but not from a link. Vimeo has had this problem previously -- not quite the pro service they intended.

If you want that video to go viral, go post it on a chemtrail conspiracy forum. They'll love it.

Two similar airliners at roughly the same height.. one leaves particulate matter in the atmosphere... the other, just exhaust vapor..

Nice videos. I've been wanting to film the moon for awhile, and am just now researching the equipment necessary to do so. Keep em coming. :)

Another Moon shot from yesterday night.

Tokina zoom 150-600 @ 600mm, 2.5k crop (from the 6k Dragon LLO)

I'm very lucky ;-)
