  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

The Meizler Module... The Details.

To Jarred and the Entire Red Team.......this Meizler Module is a staggering achievement.

THANKS!

Woohoo!!!

OK, now I just have to ask... The REDsync Master doesn't support 50 / 60(59.97) frame rates?

Jarred and Jim

I'm really proud of this accessory. It shows the power of the EPIC now. You guys have mad a truely amazing thing and changed the camera completely.

I doubt I'll be able to afford one, but I LOVE knowing it's there.

Jay

Hoecakes.... Hmmm, I think we're talking about 2 different things here, jajaja! No but seriously though. If this works like it's supposed to, God I hope it does, but I have my doubts, but if it does, then, this will be awesome!

Either way I am sure these will sell like hoecakes and I am hopeing to make a really easy purchase..

Jarred,

Could you possibly post a picture of the EPIC/Meizler combo on a tripod with 19mm rails / matte box?
If not a pic, a brief description about mounting.

Seriously, I've lost sleep wondering if the cable tray on the base raises the lens center higher than standard matte boxes on rails...
I know, I need to get a life - and I know you guys are too good to not factor that in. But I had placed inquiries before and it does have my curiosity piqued - will we need new mounting aks to make the Meizler work?

Nice to see the power for a CineTape up front - looks sweet!
RED continues to impress.

We are putting together a little graphic on the base plate configuration.. stay tuned.

It looks like the RED SNYC is a timecode generating box Brett. I'm thinking of the smaller wireless module with some aux power/monitor ports.

Yes your right and i remember Bob from RED @ NAB thinking about putting the Wireless Mod with the +1 mod into one But i have no idea if it's happening

very glad to know that red has listened to its users and developed the proxy recording......saving a lotta time from transcoding for dailies......
