Don't know if this has been posted here yet but if anyone is interested, 'The Love Witch' a 1960s period sex comedy shot by David Mullen, ASC is in theatrical release right now.

Here's a list of screenings: http://thelovewitch.oscilloscope.net

Not sure if this list is only for the 35mm theatrical film print run, or if it includes the DCP version. David has been posting some gorgeous frames from the film for awhile now, so now's your chance to see it on the big screen. I'll be seeing it tonite at the Opera Plaza in San Francisco. Congrats David!

Trailer looks great, can't wait to see it.

I had the pleasure of meeting Laura Waddell and her friend at the Virginia Film Festival.
What an energetic and wonderful person, truly a joy to talk with. Wish I could have spent more time with both of them.

Reporting back that the SF screening at the Opera Plaza was a DCP. Thought it looked fabulous. There is film grain, just tighter grain than we are used to seeing these days, I believe David used slower film stock and overexposed the negative a bit.

I saw a version in April this year at the Stranger With My Face Film festival in Hobart.
A compelling spoof on 1960's horror.
I think it was 35mm print version as the projector broke down halfway through the screening.
I made the mistake of going out of the theatre while they sorted the problem and got locked out!
So I have only seen the first half but thougfhrly enjoyed the 1960's style and humour.
