  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Not sure this is the case either... Not saying I'm a hot shot director or anything as bold as that but iveall but been begging to get my side handle in for a music video I'm directing for Willie Nelson merel haggard and John Anderson... And nothing from red on the matter really. Hopefully it gets here soon I tired of renting the side handle... Could just about justify buying a seconds one at this point heh. The upside is the camer is awesome and has worked nearly every day since I have received it
 
LCD, redvolts, charger, redmag received! My red account is a little bit lower now, still see the amount in there for brain, side handle, and red armor.

Yup. I was at the event so expected it fairly early on (even paid the bank extra to get the funds wired over fast, doh), but it's clear there are non-event Al mounts that have already been delivered and I'm still waiting on being able to collect it from Irvine. I think the queue is very loosely defined now, so it's anyone's guess when yours will arrive. I'm zen about it, but I would just love to see this company get itself organized and consistent; it's such a shame that the buying experience doesn't yet fit the product.
 
Scarlet-X #476 is slated to arrive tomorrow.

Did you just email your rep to get your serial?

Man, I hope side-handles start to ship soon! I will be tethered to AC until then. Probably order the WC/Switronix V-Mount system soon though.

Congrats Jeffery...think you've been the most vocal person in waiting! Now let's see some killer images out of your cam and upload them for the rest of us to play with while we wait for our cameras!

I asked awhile back when the allocation started.

I do as well. It would be nice for specific shots, until then I went with the VF brooks plate, Bricks are charging right now.

Yeah sorry if it's been annoyance to any. Just passionate. I'll be out there the day after I get it. Have some very cool work lined up at the end of the month that should go through. Planning on spending a few days in Breck as well shooting some skiing and putting it through the ringer.

Not an annoyance at all! Alot of my winter season work is shooting ski action and resort marketing here in Tahoe, at least you guys have a bit of snow over there in Colorado. I'd be super excited to view some of your shots to see how the Scarlet handles Snow environments.

Just about to do a full blown Nightlife/Casino/Club shoot for Heavenly Ski Resort/South Lake Tahoe and would love for my Scarlet to be here by then. Can't wait to slap my new Leica R set on the Camera!!!

Allocation email received! SO #1175, Canon Al mount ordered Nov 3, 8:43PST. Only thing left is the side handle. Not sure if it made any difference, but I contacted Red on Friday to put the remaining funds in my account. Very exciting...I was thinking it would be at least a few more weeks.
