  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Ha ha! That thought is definitely one that hasn't crossed my mind! Ha

Should be a fun day. I'm actually getting my photographer (as well as my videographer) to shoot on an EPIC which I will go back through and extract stills from later on. My thinking was that even in 20 or so years I can still go back through the footage - find a new shot - grade it and frame it on the wall. Should have a seemingly endless amount of shots to work with :)
 
Ive been married 5 years. I have the all the footage...havent even edited it once. Wedding in 5k! Make sure to get the kiss at 300fps and the cake in her face that slow. :)
Mini DV was mine.

Mine was HDV on Sony Fx1's! 1080x1440! woot! Havnt even looked at the footage after it was captured. Married 3 years.
 
My Scarlet was allocated today, as well! I was at the event and my SO was 1497 - ordered at about midnight on the 3rd but called in at 7:30. No side handle or evf.

*Grumble* Grumble* *grumble* I wasn't the one to fix it today but, if people would just stop mis-sorting it, it would be easy. :P I wish GoogleApps had more granular security.

I am super excited though to see Al Scarlets going out.

Agreed. We're three weeks in and those at the Event are still waiting. I'm still excited for the news, but I was also excited when they said that we should be good if we ordered in the first hour. It appears we only have a few allocations from today. I know they're making progress and working hard but I still feel there is a pretty good wait. I'm happy for everyone getting there cameras though. It's been a long wait for everyone.
 
Just got an email for the Touch screen, no camera yet, part of the same order. Not sure what that means but hey things are progressing. MMM what can I do with a touch screen by itself ?

AAAARGHH!!! I'm picking up my Scarlet tomorrow and just found out that the touch screen is in backorder - even though last Friday when I made arrangements to pick up the package I was told that the touch would be included.

So I guess I'll pick up a paperweight, since the touch, red mote, and side handle I ordered are unavailable.

Can't find it(i can't figure out how to search within a thread to find the exact post), but some one mentioned "redzen" in this thread ... that needs to be packaged as a pill (one a day ... i guess we would need a large bottle) and it should be sent immediately when any order is started.

Hey Mike. Sorry, I've been zenning in the corner when it comes to all the delivery threads... but your post has me baffled?
I'm reading of people all over the place without their touch screens who already have their actual cams... But yours is now allocated first? Separate to your order?
And don't I remember you advising me that my SO# 909 - is before yours?
