‘The Last Great Place’ is the latest film I add the chance to shoot this summer. We embarked on a week long, self-guided fly fishing trip to explore the unbelievably beautiful, natural landscapes that characterize the headwaters of the immense Clark Fork watershed, and documented the sights and sounds of the abundance of wildlife that inhabits this ever-shrinking expanse of western wilderness – an area that many have come to call, The Last Great Place.
I directed, shot, edited, color graded it. I also composed an original score for it. It has been primarily shot on the RED Epic Dragon (Skin tone OLPF), Canon L-Series glasses and aerial shots on DJI Phantom 3 Pro with ND.
