Hey All,

Shot a music video yesterday for The Jezabels in Sydney.

Classic indi so I was DOP, Camera operator, Gaf, equipment provider and lugger. :willy_nilly::willy_nilly::willy_nilly:

Shot in 9 hours, lots of set ups, very little time, but I think we got some good stuff.

Shot on Build 21, Zeiss ZF lenses, 1 x Kino Diva, 2 x Brute 9s and 2 x cheap florescents. Shot the whole day on my beloved Seven Jib.

Here are some stills.

One more shot, just a random cutaway but I love how the Red drinks in the light.

Awesome Jim! Gorgeous lighting. Looks like the 85mm got a work out. Was the smashed glass slomo?

I knew you couldn't just have a truly quiet November :yesnod: They will be stoked I'm sure.

Thanks for the support everyone! I'm not a music video guy by trade so it was a lot of fun.

@ Damian - It was a lot of fun. I gave them a one-light in Rocket Cine X. I shoot conservatively so the RAW images aren't very contrasty.

@ James - Thanks bud! Yes, the 85mm was my lens of the day, beautiful piece of glass. Did the ultra close on my Nikon 180mm 2.8 which gives a lovely smooth glassy look. For the speed we had to move, I think we actually got some nice shots.
Yes, glass was 100fps.

@ Matthew - Cheers, it was a great place, and I agree about the colors.
It's a studio above a props house and you can just grab whatever you want. Construction was always 1/2 step in front of production!

Thanks again, I'll post a link to the final when it's done. I'm not editing so I'm sure I won't like it  but look forward to seeing my shots in action.

Jim
