I understand the 320/800 ISO thing with these cameras (protecting highlight vs. noise in blacks). But how do other non-RAW-cameras manage this? Like the Canon HDSLR? When you change ISO to 100 on them, are the sensors overexposing, when using onboard histograms...like on the would on a Red?
I would suppose that that the issue would be exactly the same, except that Canon people "don't yet know of the problem"?
Should I manage ISO in the same manner when using my Canon 5D, with ND's? Or should I not be afraid of going down to 50 ISO?
