hi friends,

first of all, this is my first time in posting stuff and i do not know english very well. that is why excuse me from the very beginning.
i watched a film namely "International". With a lot of good actors in her, very exciting film she is. but there is a scene which confuses my mind. Clive Owen and Naomi Watts are in an elevator. they are standing in front of a mirror and camera is in front of them. does anybody have an explanation for this shot which i do not understand how they took? how could make camera's and crew's reflection invisible to the audience?
thanks in advance.

Haven't seen it but usually this is done with a hole cut into the mirror for just the lens. It's even easier to pull off nowadays because the camera can be digitally erased if it appears in the shot.

Don't know if anyone seen "Doom" 2005. There was another scene which is the character looking at the room then walk to the mirror. The camera angle was almost from the the character POV. Don't think that can be done just via a hole in the mirror. The only way I could think of is the camera person follow the character really close. Then paint it out in the post. correct me if I am wrong - or how would you do it?
