Wonderful!!

Do we will have an insider giving us periodic updates?

Peter and his crew are using 3ality Digital systems exclusively on the S3D side. As the Production allows, we will be issuing periodic tech updates. They are doing some pretty unique stuff.

Best,

Lucas

Now, on the first day of filming, Jackson has revealed a sneak peek inside the new Bag End, the home of lead hobbit Bilbo Baggins. The photo of Jackson stepping through the front door of Baggins’ fictional home in The Shire was the only photograph issued by Warner Brothers yesterday, part of strict secrecy surrounding the film. check them out......

"...Pre-production on the $50 million, two-movie production..."

Is that $50mil for both or $50mil each? either way thats a pretty big drop from essentially $100mil each film for the orig trilogy. I'd say if any film has a track record to secure funding it would be these films. Interesting to see the budget drop by at least half..

Jason

I think they forgot a zero.

[Jason Diamond]

I think you're possibly right

[Rohan B]

50 million?????????? No f**king way,they definitely forgot a zero,its a 500 million dollars for both the movies together,each are 250 million dollars..

[Tim Hole]

I hope PJ gives himself another walk-on this time round. He looks the part.

Glad this has finally kicked off. Its going to be EPIC.

[Gunleik Groven]
