of course. it will take at least a few months to conduct and present the research, so please be patient - or conduct your own, or get in contact with me.
antonio... 24 frames per second is less information, thus slower thinking/brainwaves than the higher/faster levels of 48. i don't think we need to be in this higher level the whole time, i just think we should have it as an option on the table. what we're talking about is not really 'film'. if you want to do film the way they've done films for a hundred years, do film. we're still figuring out what to call this. this is digital cinema or visual storytelling or video art or something - come up with a better name if you want. but whatever it is, it certainly offers higher spatial and temporal resolution. so if it's all about sticking to tradition and what works here, this medium will do so by learning from thousands of years of stage theatre as well as the more recent developments in cinematic language. it is not replacing traditional filmmaking, or theatre, it forges a new experience by way of integration and synthesis.
But to make this new cinematic experience comparable to TV broadcasting its hardly a revolution, isn't it? It's not taking the medium to new heights. Its just using a technical language used in television broadcasting for years. If that's a revolution, its a very low standard revolution.
You keep referring to tradition, but now its you that is missing the point. If for you this is all about tradition, then why follow a 50 year old TV broadcast tradition? Why not invent a whole new way of presenting movies, not seen anywhere? That's a revolution.
