We've done a few tricky shoots with the Red Camera but this one was a completely new challenge, so I thought it worthy of a post
Yesterday morning Capital Radio (London's biggest radio station) gave the band "The Feeling" the task of shooting and editing a music video in just 24 hours. Sonic was called in to provide camera gear and expertise and provide a workflow solution to allow their guys to edit online using Avid whilst the video was being shot.
The shoot wrapped at 11pm. By the time we left the set around 2/3 to 3/4 of the video had already been edited together and the rest of the footage was ready in their Avid. By around 4am this morning the edit was finished and grading was completed by 7am. The band delivered the video back to Capital Radio before the 8.30am deadline and completed the challenge.
I believe the shoot was covered by T4 for Channel 4 (One of the biggest TV stations/channels in the UK) as we were shadowed by a ten crew documentary team all day. I don't know when it is likely to air, but I'd guess this weekend otherwise it'd be old news really!
As per usual we get a shrunk down low quality video to watch - bit of a shame. But nevertheless here it is:

Hope you enjoy, cheers
