  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

The Day of Understatements... (RED primes)

I still can't believe it... Peter, please tell us about their mechanical feel when you get a moment. Please.

Martin, I don't think they are stopping at anything, it must be a matter of giving them time to grow really. But Jim knows a thing or two about that. :sifone:

I wonder what the final $ will be? My guess is $19,000 for a 5 lens set. I also guess that the 18mm will be between $5-6,000, so putting a full 6 lenses right around $25,000, a bargain based on what others have been saying..

There's another understatement right there... :sifone:

RED has Chrosziel Lens Testing Projector MK5.

You bet Matt

Thats a nice "HOFF for Pres" poster.

Hey Pete, thanks for sharing. I can't wait to get my hands on one of these.

So you're not comparing the RED lenses to the Master Primes? I'm very excited about these new lenses, but I've just never seen anything that compares to the MP's and I want to know what exactly you mean by the "best lenses in the universe".

Let's put it this way... we would be very happy to put a MP up on the projector next to the RPP.

Jim
