Hi everyone - long time lurker, first post. Sharing this short action pilot made for Stage5's Continuum channel on Youtube. Thanks to Mark Kern (Reduser) and Cindi Rice for the opportunity. Shot earlier in the year on the Epic and Scarlet, 4K workflow through Adobe CS6 and Davinci Resolve.
LAST WARRIOR STANDING
Sucked into an alternate world, our best warriors have to combat each other to return to the lives they cherish.
The small form factor of the Epic and Scarlet really made a difference for handheld work. Epic had the 17-50 RPZ and the Scarlet the Canon 16-35mm L zoom. Cameras were set to 4kHD and shot at 23.98fps 180 deg shutter while the Epic was shot at 96fps at 90 deg shutter for slow motion.
Editing was done on a PC workstation, 4kHD R3D timeline in Premiere Pro CS6, dynamically linked with After Effects CS6. Final grading was done in DaVinci Resolve.
Cheers,
Kevin
